The Belfast-born presenter and former host of This Morning joins Dan Wootton at GB News for the exclusive programming airing Monday nights.
“It’s a complete cover-up,” said Eamonn.
“Those in authority must know, must know, what is going on.
“They think they dodged a bullet with this that they’re doing and they do it constantly because with Schofield talking about the people who are speaking out against him, which is me, Amanda Holden and you. [Dan Wootton]You will be included in the toxicity that occurs… Dr Ranj [Singh] of course too.
“And you just sit there and think ‘no friends, you’ve been at this for too long’.”
Eamonn Holmes accused ‘total cover-up’ on ITV over Phillip Schofield’s affair
Speaking on a program called ‘Schofield: The Real Story’ Eamonn made a series of shocking claims and accused Phillip Schofield of being “poisonous” amid the cultural furor on ITV’s flagship daytime programme.
“I think Phillip was right about the toxicity,” he said.
“But my friend, the toxicity is not in me, Dan Wootton, or anyone else, the toxicity is in you.”
Schofield, 61, resigned from ITV on Friday and was kicked out by his talent agency YMU after admitting a “prudent, but not illegal” affair with a young male colleague on This Morning.
In an earlier post on Instagram, Schofield fired back at his criticism, saying that “no toxicity” This Morning.
“I hope you’ve noticed that the same handful of people have grudges against me or the show that seems to have the loudest voice,” he said.

Eamonn, who previously presented This Morning with his wife Ruth Langsford, took the remarks head-on during an explosive interview.
“My God,” he said.
“What planet does this man live on.
“He created an atmosphere where people hated him.
“People would avoid him in the corridors – he saw no one.
“He doesn’t know anyone’s name.
“Hello [Willoughby] I don’t even know anyone’s name.”
Eamonn said Holly had to “follow closely” as he did not expect her to return to the show as planned on June 5.
“I don’t think you’ll ever see Holly Willoughby back on the couch,” he said.
A number of former This Morning employees have come out criticizing broadcast culture since the resignation including a former resident doctor.
Dr Ranj Singh claims he raised concerns about “bullying and discrimination” two years ago while he was working there and afterwards felt like he was being “managed” to divulge secrets.
ITV’s managing director of media and entertainment refused to answer questions about Phillip Schofield after being chased down the street by producers of GB News.
Ben Leo tracked down Kevin Lygo and asked if Scho was “covering up”.a field affair with a young male colleague at the station and if he “covers” a former emcee.
But Mr. Lygo left saying: “We really have nothing more to say.”
Phillip Schofield has not yet responded to the latest accusations.
In a statement released before Monday Morning aired, she said: “Now that I’m no longer working at @this morning, I’m free to say this,” she posted on Instagram shortly before This Morning aired with Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond on Monday.
“I hope you’ve noticed that it’s the same handful of people who have grudges against me or the shows that seem to have the loudest voices.
“This morning was the best show to work on, with the best people.
“In all the years I worked there there was no poison.
“You can listen to those constant loud voices if you want.
“But thousands of guests over the years, thousands of staff and crew, hundreds of presenters and contributors all know, this is an amazing, talented, kind, hard-working family.”
In an extraordinary public spat, Eamonn had previously branded Schofield as “delusional” and a “liar” warning Schofield that he was picking the wrong person if he was looking for a fight.
Schofield previously admitted that he had “lied to my employer at ITV, to my colleagues and friends, to my agent, to the media and the public, and most importantly of all to my family” over the affair.
His resignation comes after weeks of speculation about a feud with former co-host Holly Willoughby.
On Friday Eamonn made shocking claims on his Twitter account Friday night about a senior individual at ITV who he claimed “knew exactly what kind of man” Schofield was.
“Schofield was eventually caught… but he wasn’t the only one to blame,” he wrote online.
“ITV knows the kind of man he is… and has never once taken action to prevent him from controlling or profiting from his position over youth.”
ITV insisted this was not the case and said Schofield was questioned about the link but vehemently denied there was any.
Lawyers representing Schofield have confirmed that she met a younger man when the boy was 15, but the affair began after he started working at ITV.
Another male lawyer also said the affair started after their client joined the broadcaster.
